Summary GENERAL SUMMARY Under the direction of a physician, the Cardiac Cath Lab RN assists in cardiac catheterization as well as vascular and interventional procedures. Reports to department leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists physician in all aspects of cardiac invasive and non-invasive testing, diagnostic laboratory tests and procedures following established policies, procedures and regulations. Knowledge and skill in invasive procedures protocols, equipment and instrumentation specific to cardiac invasive procedures preferred.
