Oversee staff scheduling, oncall rotation, visit coverage, and staffing models to maintain patient care continuity. Collaborate with the admissions/referral team to ensure smooth clinical onboarding of new patients and transitions of care. Review clinical documentation, patient outcomes, and quality metrics; identify and implement process improvements. Provide leadership in symptom management, endoflife care best practices, patient/family education, and staff education/training. Act as a clinical resource for staff, patients and families — supporting complex clinical cases, ethical issues, and family communication. Participate in budgeting and resource planning for clinical operations as needed; monitor supply usage and equipment needs.
