Job Summary Provides overall supervision of nursing for patient care units across multiple sites. Maintains direct accountability for the financial, operational and mission performance for specific services/departments assigned. Evaluates overall patient care and related activities to ensure consistency with hospital strategies and objectives. Delivers extraordinary service and customer experience at all times, and motivates staff to also achieve maximal patient or client satisfaction. Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance, evaluating and comparing possible courses-of-action, and making decisions/recommendations after considering the various possibilities. Responsibilities Surgery Circulator RN is directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services, and indirectly to the House Supervisor.
