Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse provides evidence-based nursing care in the Operating Room and works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the multidisciplinary care team to support complex inpatient procedures. Nurses in this role are responsible for scrubbing and circulating and will support a variety of cases rather than performing repetitive procedures. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a New York State RN license and a BSN. Prior Operating Room experience in an acute care, inpatient setting is required. Scrubbing and circulating are required skills. CNOR certification is preferred but not required. Core Skills: Proactive and reliable team player with a strong dedication to patient care.
