In addition, patients are admitted for diagnostic work-up and treatment of new-onset infectious disease processes. Continuous video camera monitoring and cardiac telemetry are also available, if needed, to provide comprehensive, safe patient care. Collaboration between our physician colleagues (teaching services and attending services) and multidisciplinary teams contributes to the high functioning teamwork found on this unit.
