This is considered as off-site Call, where you do not stay in the hospital but need to be available within 30 minutes of being contacted for an Orthopedic Trauma. This role includes a rotating weekday and weekend call schedule. Currently, this works out to about two weekday call shifts per month, three - four weekends of call per year, and one holiday shift annually (though this may change over time).
