The Director of Nursing will be responsible for directing and monitoring the facility-wide quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program, ensuring the facility programs follow all regulatory agencies, JOINT COMMISSION, NAPPH and State and Federal agencies. In addition, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for coordination of all staffing requirements within the nursing department, including scheduling staff, monitoring changes, updating, and reporting bi-weekly time reporting to payroll. As a member of senior management this position ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the facility’s goals and objectives , and actively participates in a leadership role by consulting with facility management in designing and providing total patient care and services.
