Overview We are seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse , also referred to as an ICU RN, Intensive Care Nurse or Intensive Care Unit RN. The Intensive Care RN (ICU RN) will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN will have advanced skills in critical care settings, make quick decisions, and will be compassionate to all patients. An ICU RN monitors vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administer IV Fluids, and communicates effectively to the medical team to modify care plans accordingly. You must have: Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: Completion of Critical Care Course preferred Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
