About this Job: MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) **Previous OR experience required** Unit Highlights The Cardiovascular OR at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is part of one of the Top 10 cardiac programs in the country, delivering advanced, high-acuity cardiovascular surgical care in a collaborative team environment. Our team includes 18 experienced nurses working alongside 3 Open Heart Surgeons and 5 Vascular Surgeons. The CVOR supports a wide range of complex procedures including vascular surgery, open heart cases, catheter-based valve procedures, TEE, cardioversion, and thoracic cases. RNs in this unit are required to be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating, ensuring versatility and high-level perioperative expertise. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with on-call and holiday call requirements. Full-time and per diem opportunities are available.
