Assist Intake Coordinators when requested in interpretation of lab values, and diagnostic testing within Pembroke guidelines in order to facilitate appropriate referrals to facilities. Reviews for first call acceptance of appropriate patients based on Pembroke protocols. Notify the units of pending admissions. Send completed call sheets and insurance verification/authorization to Hospital Unit, Utilization Review and Business office. Maintain accurate, up-to-date bed availability including update hospital staff of pending admissions or cancellations. Update external bedboard on regular basis. Adhere to department procedures related to waitlisted patients, transferring cases. Contact the CEO when a review is necessary or patient delayed.
