Job Summary Responsible for directing patient care during surgical procedures according to the AORN standards of care, specifically during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures. Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under an approved protocol. Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care. Job Summary Responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients of the Special Procedures area while utilizing the nursing process, and acts as a liaison between the Special Procedures area and the nursing units to provide continuity of care and optimal communication. Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including examination and treatment, under an approved protocol. Communicate with physicians and other departments to consult on patient status and to ensure continuity of care. Respond to cases of cardiopulmonary arrest, fire, disaster or other emergencies in accordance with established procedures. Administer Moderate Sedation in a controlled setting. Job Summary The Nurse Navigator oversees the multitude of clinical aspects of an active Breast Center, while working in the support of the broader Program in Women's Oncology. The Nurse Navigator is responsible for coordinating health education for patients.
