Develops the OUH Nurse Residency Program Curriculum in collaboration with the Executive Nursing Council and Clinical Education Department. Conducts and/or coordinates classes, skills verification labs, specialized courses, group session and other activities that constitute OUH Nurse Residency Program. Serves on the OUH Residency Advisory Board, evaluates program outcomes, reports outcome data and articulates program needs. Supports core OUH orientation, NRP and continuing education/professional development activities. Works collaboratively with leaders, clinical and other experts, and colleagues throughout OUH to identify educational needs and practice gaps and design programs to address these needs. Utilizes evidence based knowledge and standards of practice to plan, design, implement and evaluate educational activities to address the identified needs and achieve specific outcomes. Participates in performance improvement activities Assists with maintaining accreditation and regulatory standards. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications : Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred Experience: Four (4) years’ experience to include combination of relevant clinical/technical practice, responsibility for educational functions/processes and/or leadership accountabilities. Experience with outcomes facilitating and leading nursing residency program preferred.
