Minimum Requirements A bachelor’s degree in nursing, coupled with a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience, is required. Position Overview Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) and healthcare leader to serve as the Occupational Medicine Clinic Manager for Grand Valley Occupational Medicine in Grand Junction, Colorado. This position provides leadership and oversight for the clinic’s daily clinical and administrative operations, with responsibility for staff leadership, patient care, regulatory compliance, operational performance, and employer health services. The Occupational Medicine Clinic Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, high-quality occupational health services to patients, employers, and community partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare leadership, occupational medicine, employee health, or ambulatory clinic operations, along with knowledge of workers’ compensation, DOT medical examinations, OSHA requirements, drug and alcohol testing, pre-employment physicals, return-to-work evaluations, work-related injuries, and employer health services. Essential Responsibilities Clinical & Operational Leadership Lead the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of Grand Valley Occupational Medicine. Provide leadership, direction, and support to clinical and non-clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative team members. Ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling, patient flow, clinic capacity, and resource utilization. Establish and maintain effective workflows, processes, and operational standards. Partner with providers and clinical staff to support consistent delivery of high-quality patient care. Serve as a key operational liaison between Occupational Medicine and Community Hospital leadership. Address operational and employee issues promptly and in accordance with Community Hospital policies and procedures. Occupational Medicine & Employer Health Services Oversee the delivery of occupational health and employee health services to local and regional employers. Quality, Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure clinic operations comply with applicable federal, state, and industry requirements and Community Hospital policies. Maintain knowledge of and compliance with applicable requirements, including OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, DOT, ODAPC, CDC, CMS, NHSN, workers’ compensation requirements, and other applicable occupational medicine regulations and standards. Develop, implement, and maintain clinic policies, procedures, protocols, and workflows. Monitor compliance with clinical, operational, documentation, safety, and regulatory requirements. Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and regulatory or accreditation activities. Promote a culture of patient safety and regulatory compliance. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado. Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience , with leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in ambulatory care, occupational medicine, employee health, workers’ compensation, or a related healthcare setting preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build effective relationships with employees, providers, patients, employers, and external partners. LOUIS, MO 63108 Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provides direct patient care and education for patients receiving treatments, examinations, surgeries, etc., in a medical office according to established procedures. Work schedule and shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Clinic overview: Nurse will be required to support providers in clinical setting.
