Behavioral Health RN Position Summary The Behavioral Health RN provides superior psychiatric services for the child and adolescent population. The Behavioral Health RN can expect to enjoy various groups as a treatment modality e.g. symptom management groups, medication education, anger management, relaxation group, stress management, discharge planning and healthy lifestyles. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 12 months of employment NIH Stroke Scale Certification will be obtained during orientation Observation Unit RN Work Schedule May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy. Scheduled off at least three holidays per year. Required to work weekends per unit need. Expected to work overtime on occasion.
