Seeking and experienced Medical Assistant to join one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. The Sarcoma and Orthopaedic Center specializes in treating rare and complex cancers and tumors of the bones and soft tissues, including muscle, joints, and blood vessels. Our team manages both benign and malignant musculoskeletal tumors, metastatic cancers, and pediatric cases. In addition to sarcoma care, we address orthopaedic conditions common in cancer patients, such as arthritis, fractures, osteoporosis, and avascular necrosis. Patients benefit from a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, rheumatologists, pain specialists, and other experts dedicated to comprehensive, compassionate care. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of MA experience, hands-on procedure experience, and the ability to stay adaptable in a fast paced clinical setting. They excel in high volume workflows, maintain strong patient care standards, and hold MA certification-preferred but not required. The schedule will be Monday - Friday / 8 hours. Key Functions Assists with patient examinations, treatments and procedures. Prepares / stocks rooms and escorts patients to rooms. Obtains vital signs and prepares patients for physician's care.
