This entry-level Field Registered Nurse position is designed to develop fundamental nursing skills within a home health setting while gaining an understanding of the company's operational goals and efficiencies. Cardiac Telemetry focuses on the care of heart failure patients, managing inpatient care, as well as arranging care and services post-hospitalization. Nursing care includes continuous EKG monitoring and/or continuous oxygen saturation monitoring via telemetry, and administration of specific intravenous and oral medications which treat cardiac conditions and arrhythmias. Additionally, the unit prepares and sends patients for cardiac interventions, various surgeries, diagnostic tests, and other procedures.
