POSITION OVERVIEW This Travel Licensed Practical Nurse role supports short- and long-term assignments across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky, requiring adaptability while maintaining consistent standards of care. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct, quality clinical care and the supervision of nursing assistants working with residents assigned to each unit. Key Responsibilities Visit residents on assigned unit daily to observe and evaluate each resident’s physical and emotional status and notify the charge nurse, the physician, and/or the Director of Nursing when there is a change in a resident’s condition. Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate immediate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician. Provide holistic care for residents within the scope of your LPN license. Assist in monitoring the inventory of medications, medical supplies and equipment to ensure that an adequate supply is on hand and readily available to meet the needs of the residents. Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc. as necessary Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures governing accidents and incidents. RESPONSIBILITIES The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy. The ability to assess patient needs and condition. Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Current CPR certification. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills. Valid driver license for travel to clinics. POSITION OVERVIEW This Travel Licensed Practical Nurse role supports short- and long-term assignments across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky, requiring adaptability while maintaining consistent standards of care. POSITION OVERVIEW This Travel Registered Nurse (RN) role supports short- and long-term assignments across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky, requiring adaptability while maintaining consistent standards of care.
