Overview The Wound Care Services Manager is responsible for the delivery of wound-related patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of all patients. Coordinates and revises present wound and/or HBO services by planning, developing, and implementing new service programming compatible hospital goals. Develops appropriate protocols and objectives for programs exhibiting knowledge of the programs by communicating needed information and/or referring requests for information to appropriate sources. Provides leadership in the development of performance standards for employees. Evaluates and counsels’ employees on their performance. Plans and develops educational in-services for the department. The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the position requirements are demonstrated through the successful completion of competencies established for the position, to include population served, and other special needs of patients or customers served by the department. Adheres to OBH Brookdale University policies, procedures, all safety plans, and all standards imposed by regulatory organizations. Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the patients served.
