Job Summary

The House Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of nursing personnel for a given shift with responsibility for outcome throughout the facility; performs a variety of functions for assigned shift including the interpretation of department policy and procedures for nursing staff; participates in the identification and investigation of problems, preparation of reports, and implementation of the improvement of nursing care; provides for staff training and evaluates personnel performance.

Shift: Day Shift

Job Qualifications:

  • Current RN license

  • A Level One Fingerprint Card is required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Minimum 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience

  • Prior leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

Job-Specific Duties:

  • Provide administrative and clinical oversight for hospital operations during assigned shifts

  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality patient care

  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges

  • Address staffing issues and allocate personnel as needed

  • Respond to emergencies and address patient or family concerns

  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, additional compensation may be available for CMC Phoenix roles, including shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
