We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a school-based opportunity near North Kansas City, MO. This is a dynamic, flexible role supporting students across multiple school sites.

Position Details:

  • Start: ASAP through May 22
  • Option to extend for ESY: June 1 June 25 (MondayThursday)
  • Hours: 2225 hours per week
  • Schedule: Varies by site (typically between 7:00 AM 4:30 PM)
  • Weekly schedules provided (subject to change based on student needs, field trips, and staff coverage)

Role Overview:

  • Float between school sites, supporting PreK12th grade students
  • Serve as the primary health room nurse after a 2-week training period
  • Provide general nursing care, respond to health needs, and assist with field trips as needed
  • Work independently while maintaining strong communication with district staff
  • Utilize electronic systems for charting and documentation

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Missouri)
  • Recent pediatric experience required (ICU, ER, or school-based preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required 
  • Comfortable working with a wide age range (PreK12)
  • Strong multitasking and technology skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to schedule changes
