About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled RN Wound Nurse to join our wound care team on a full-time basis. As a RN Wound Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents with wounds, pressure ulcers, and other skin-related issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective wound care plans, addressing patient needs, and promoting healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized wound care plans for residents

  • Provide wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and compression therapy

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans

  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on wound care and prevention

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

  • Current RN licensure in the State of New York

  • Experience in wound care or related field
