School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Irvington, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding contract position serving local elementary and high school students during the 26/27 school year. In this part-time role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for children with seizure disorders as they travel to and from school. This is a transport-only assignment, with a schedule of approximately 25 hours per week, offering a meaningful opportunity to make a daily difference in students lives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN or LPN license in New Jersey (compact license holders welcome)
• Proven experience supporting individuals with seizure disorders, especially in pediatric or school settings
• Authorization to work in the United States is required
• Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screenings

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor assigned student during school bus transport
• Deliver immediate care and seizure management interventions if needed
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates as appropriate
• Foster a calm, safe, and supportive environment during transport
