We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a Regional Nurse Consultant supporting multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout Central Upstate New York.

Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight to multiple skilled nursing facilities.
Partner with Administrators, Directors of Nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional resident care.
Monitor and improve clinical quality measures, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and survey readiness.
Analyze clinical and quality data to identify trends and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Mentor and develop Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Unit Managers, and nursing leadership teams.
Assist facilities with state survey preparation, plan of correction implementation, and regulatory compliance.
Support staffing initiatives and clinical operations during leadership transitions or periods of need.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
Travel regularly between assigned facilities throughout the Central Upstate New York region.
Qualifications
Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
Multi-facility leadership, Regional Nurse Consultant, DON, or Assistant Regional experience strongly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of CMS regulations, New York State Department of Health requirements, and survey processes.
Proven ability to improve clinical outcomes and quality metrics.
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.
