Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- School nursing experience strongly preferred
- Competency in caring for pediatric patients, especially those with medical devices such as central lines and jejunostomies
- Strong communication skills for working with students, faculty, and parents
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor a 5-year-old student during school hours (Monday-Friday, 9:05am-3:35pm)
- Observe a central line (no direct care required during the school day)
- Oversee the students jejunostomy, managing the collection system for output
- Collaborate with school personnel to maintain a safe learning environment
- Communicate student status and needs clearly with staff and guardians
