Qualifications and Experience:
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts
• Prior experience as a school nurse or in pediatric healthcare strongly preferred

• Comprehensive clinical skills, including assessment, medication administration, and emergency response
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• CPR/AED certification required

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a district-wide Float Nurse, providing coverage and support at various school locations as needed
• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care for students, from injury triage to managing chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Administer medications, first aid, and emergency care in compliance with local and state guidelines
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community
• Support public health practices, such as screenings and immunization compliance
• Work closely with school administrators and families to address ongoing health concerns

The schedule offers 37.5 hours per week following the academic calendar, supporting continuity of care and student success throughout the full school year.
