Prepare patients for care and assist clinicians during abortion procedures. Provide appropriate patient education, information, forms, and referrals. Conduct pregnancy testing and provide related information and referrals. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, including blood and urine samples. Perform venipuncture within the scope of your training, certification, or licensure. Prepare procedure and examination rooms and maintain appropriate supplies, cleanliness, and inventory. Maintain patient confidentiality and approach sensitive healthcare matters with compassion and without judgment. Administrative and Financial Support Register and schedule patients for services.
