Manages par levels, expiration or refrigeration logs, environment of care rounds/management and/or supply distribution. • Demonstrates knowledge of pertinent aspects and competency with protocols related to the use of chemical disinfection, high level disinfection, and sterilization if required as part of the responsibilities of the role. • Depending on location, directs High Level Disinfection and conducts quality control for ENT scope cleaning in accordance with defined HLD processes • Completes trainings and education including but not limited to Healthcare Provider CPR. • Completes and/or collaborates with leadership for weekly ambulatory schedule of NA/MA assignments and makes adjustment to effectively meet patient care demands. • Rounds on all ambulatory clinics to ensure all clinics are running efficiently. • Collaborates with leadership to ensure overall ambulatory compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. • Orients new NA/ MA staff and contingency staff. • Participates in Department Process Improvement activities and/or unit-based or organizational-wide committees. • Other job functions as assigned. Assists with scheduling of patient tests, procedures, and follow-up appointments. Assists in the care, cleaning, and sterilization of equipment and instruments. Maintains the inventory of medical and linen supplies. Maintains quality control for equipment. Provides cross coverage to other clinical areas as assigned. Participates in quality improvement projects. Maintains compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and other regulatory bodies. May have Unit specific duties as needed.
