Learn About a Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant: Responsibilities Provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider. Enters, maintains, and reports all medical history, medical coding, and files claims using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
