Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy. Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms. Qualifications Must be able to acquire a basic knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology and equipment within the assigned service area. Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is required. Certification is required if designated by law (i.e. Home Care).
