You must be licensed as a CNA in the state of Colorado and have the ability to work a rotating schedule OPEN SHIFTS: DAYS and Nights PAY RATE: $22.00 - $26.50 / Hour depending on experience JOB SUMMARY: A certified nursing assistant is responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times, within their scope of practice. JOB DUTIES: Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations, within the scope of practice of a certified nursing assistant. Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses and disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding patients, providing continence care when needed, and assessing their patients’ vital signs to notify staff of any changes and assist in maintaining a clean, homelike environment. Assist participants with restorative and supportive care such as ambulating, positioning, transferring, skin care, catheters, fills oxygen and provides other aides as assigned or needed.
