The Division partners with Obstetrics and Pediatric subspecialists to provide prenatal care and consultation through our multidisciplinary Fetal-Neonatal Center. Our productive NICU Human Milk research team at Rush conducts clinical and translational research in diverse areas: clinical, neurodevelopmental, and economic outcomes associated with mother’s own milk and donor milk, disparities in lactation, maternal, infant and milk microbiome, human milk science, and lactation physiology.
