Other duties as required Overview Kelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes. North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges. Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room. There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family. What You'll Do As the Pediatric Oncology Nurse Navigator, you'll serve as the clinical coordinator and advocate for children receiving outpatient oncology care. Working alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, child life specialists, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team, you'll help ensure every patient receives exceptional, coordinated care. You'll build meaningful relationships with patients and families while helping remove barriers, simplify complex care plans, and create a supportive experience throughout treatment.
