Location New York, New York Shift: Day (United States of America) Description: Join a Team at the Forefront of Cellular Therapy NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our Apheresis and Cellular Therapy team. This unique role combines specialized apheresis procedures with infusion nursing, supporting patients across the continuum of care for hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies, and complex oncology treatments. As an Apheresis RN, you will play a critical role in delivering advanced therapies that are transforming cancer care, including stem cell collections, photopheresis, immune effector cell therapy collections, and infusion support for patients receiving CAR-T cell therapy, bispecific antibodies, and other innovative treatments. This is a full-time position, working four 10-hour shifts per week. Key Responsibilities: Perform therapeutic and collection-based apheresis procedures, including: Stem cell collections Leukapheresis Mononuclear cell collections for CAR-T therapies Extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing BMT and cellular therapy treatment. Administer and monitor infusion therapies, blood products, supportive care medications, and biologic agents. Collaborate with physicians, APPs, coordinators, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Assess, monitor, and manage treatment-related toxicities and complications. Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans, symptom management, and follow-up care. Support quality, safety, and regulatory standards related to cellular therapy and infusion services. Participate in unit-based initiatives, professional development, and ongoing competency training. Preferred Qualifications: Strong IV skills Previous experience in: Apheresis Oncology infusion nursing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Cellular Therapy programs Familiarity with: CAR-T cell therapies Bispecific antibody therapies Stem cell transplantation Immune effector cell therapies Photopheresis treatment for GVHD and other indications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain) BCLS certification from AHA Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
