Bargaining Unit: Outpatient Clinics - EAP Rate of Pay: $84.91/hour + DOE (Base Pay of $80.87/hour includes 5% temporary rate) Summary The Clinics Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for the primary care of those individuals directed to the clinics via hospital based programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrates clinical competence to provide adult or family primary care with or without subspecialty. Provides primary care medical services for assigned patients, including preventive physical examinations, evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses, chronic disease management and referrals to appropriate specialties or facilities Orders, performs, interprets diagnostic tests as appropriate Prescribes medication, therapy and other specialized medical care per standard of care Performs appropriate medical procedures within scope of practice as defined by licensing and the health system's credentialing and privileging processes.
