Participates with the multidisciplinary team regarding program development and evaluation. Participates, as appropriate, in studies conducted by nurses and multidisciplinary researchers. PROMOTES THE DEVELOPMENT OF NURSING STAFF Develops, conducts, and participates in formal and informal staff development programs in area of expertise. Contributes to development of policies, procedures, protocols, and/or patient educational materials as appropriate in area of expertise. Participates in academic programs, as negotiated. Utilizes and disseminates evidence based practice and research findings.
