The Home Health Clinical Nurse Supervisor acts as a role model, mentor, coach and resource person to staff to ensure all unit standards are maintained and to encourage a team environment. The Home Health Clinical Nurse Supervisor` is involved in assisting managers in attracting, developing, maintaining, and retaining qualified staff members. Duties may include assisting with hiring, orientation, monitoring and evaluating performance, problem solving, employee counseling, staffing, payroll and budget. In addition to duties involving unit personnel, the Home Health Clinical Nurse Supervisor serves as a contact for internal and external customers. This position collaborates with Bronson At Home Quality and Safety Manager in conjunction with QA and PI efforts. The Home Health Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible to evaluate and oversee clinical staff. They act as a role model, coach and mentor to staff, as well as a resource and contact person to staff and to others within and outside of the organization. The Home Health Clinical Nurse Supervisor ensures that all department standards are maintained as well as encourages a team environment and maintains positive customer service. Responsible to monitor and maintain approved department budget. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
