Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives. Inserts and/or removes tubes, drains, urinary catheters, including removal of peripherally-inserted central catheter (PICC); applies splints/braces. Instructs patients in the collection of samples and other tests; ensures that patient or family understands follow-up and referral information. Informs patients of lab results, calls in prescriptions to pharmacies and returns practitioners’ phone messages. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is at least one year Mother Baby patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.
