Proactively advocate for residents at the clinic to ensure all needs are met and communicate challenges to the facility as needed. Represent Briarcliff Manor Center at all times, adhering to facility policies and procedures, as well as abuse laws, both on and off facility property. Additional clinic visits may be required depending on facility needs. Advise the Clinic Coordinator between appointments if assigned to unit staff duty. Requirements: Current NYS Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required. CNA certification preferred. Ability to perform all tasks and duties of a Home Health Aide. Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents.
