Job Overview The Clinical Administrative Coordinator works in coordination with the Clinical Nurse Manager/Director to ensure that work is accomplished safely and effectively for assigned unit(s). The Coordinator will be responsible for developing nursing staff through mentoring, coaching, and education. Location : Lowell General- Saints Campus Hours : Full Time (36 Hours) Job Description Minimum Qualifications: 1. Massachusetts RN Licensure. 2. 5 Years of RN Experience with at least 1 year as a charge/lead RN. 3. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. 4. Educates staff on department/hospital policies, procedures, equipment, and/or supplies. Supports activities needed to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance with clinical patient care standards and established policies and procedures. Participates in departmental and hospital committee meetings. Participates in quality improvement activities. Maintains professional educational development as related to evidenced-based practice. Maintains a reciprocal relationship with the Clinical Managers/Directors to assure unit productivity. Monitors and assesses need to secure additional supplies. Rounds on assigned unit(s) and consults with the nursing staff to verify that patient needs are being met. Assesses and coordinates the flow of critical care patients to optimize resources. Acts rapidly and competently, follows hospital policies and procedures in any emergency situation. Ensures organizational policies, procedures, standards and practices are communicated and followed by staff. Identifies and allocates resources according to budgetary expectations, benchmarking data, standards of nursing practice and ethical principles of care.
