According to the Plan of Care for the tenant, CNAs apply skills in basic nursing, personal care, and basic restorative services while understanding the mental health and social service needs of the tenant and being mindful of the needs of cognitively impaired tenants. The CNA is part of the interdisciplinary care team that is dedicated to promoting independence, autonomous decision-making, and facilitating tenants to achieve and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Additional Details Interview on site. 6 am-230 pm Shift. One weekday shift and EOW - looking for availibilty for the weekend to be the August 1st & 2nd rotation. Week day can be flexible. Training: Must have availability for 2-3 days the first few weeks. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification. Training may consist of day shift 6-230, 8-430 or Evening 130-10pThis is an expectation. How you make a difference As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility is to provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary. Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed. Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training. Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or other staff as necessary. Additional Details In person interview. Ability to work 4 shifts in 6 week period. 1 shift must be a weekend. 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday. PRN Shifts: ability to work both shifts. 7am-330pm & 130pm-10pm. Must be able to train 2-3 days a week until comfortable to be on own. Train on both shifts. Ability to keep current on jail and medical education.
