Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team. Can work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis with activities which include: phone, email and written communication, meetings with a variety of healthcare professionals, and an understanding of hospice rules and regulations. Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities. Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces. Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems. Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies. Other duties as assigned. Director of Nursing

Lead the launch of a brand-new Orthopedic Surgery Center! We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to play a key leadership role in the development and operations of a new state-of-the-art ASC in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a unique opportunity to help build a facility from the ground up while creating a culture of clinical excellence, patient safety, and operational success. This de novo ASC will be a premier center for orthopedic surgery, led by highly sought-after surgeons from one of the region’s leading orthopedic practices. We are looking for a Director of Nursing to manage the day-to-day clinical operations of this high paced environment Duties include but are not limited to overseeing scheduling of procedures, staffing levels, Physician Preferences, supervision of materials management and maintain the right culture and pace of the Center in the ORS, Pre-Op & PACU. This role works closely with the Administrator, Medical Director and MAC and will actively participate in patient care. Experience working in an ASC as an RN is required. Experience in outpatient orthopedic surgery highly preferred. GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : The Director of Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Surgery Center. Orthopedic experience is required for this role. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, inventory control, QA/ QI, staff credentialing, preventative maintenance and safety, risk management and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel. REQUIREMENTS : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current and valid Texas Registered Nurse License required.
