Job Summary: Within a team environment, provides support to providers and nurses during patient care encounters. Responsibilities: Oversee unit operations, implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective care Assist with treatment and medication administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols Participate in Admissions, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized care plans Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings with the healthcare team Conduct daily audits of new admission charts to ensure accuracy and completeness Serve as a liaison between family, patient, doctor, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and care coordination Investigate incident reports and follow up with necessary actions to prevent recurrence Manage staff assignments and ensure quality of care, providing guidance and support as needed Participate in weekly risk meetings to report on patient conditions and identify potential risks Participate in annual evaluations of staff and provide constructive feedback for growth and development Take on-call hours on weekends and holidays as assigned, ensuring prompt response to patient needs Requirements: Current RN license in the state of Georgia Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting Prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in gerontology and rehabilitation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Benefits: Competitive salary: $80,000+ with a $10,000 sign-on bonus Opportunity to work in a dynamic and compassionate healthcare environment Professional growth and development opportunities Collaboration with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals About Us: University Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a unique and caring long-term health care facility located in the heart of historic Athens, Georgia.
