Summary GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment and planning based on patient needs, and consistent with the patient’s expectation of treatment. Administers medication according to policy and procedure and/or direct orders of physician. 8. *Documents care based on standards of care and practice and/or clinical priorities for documentation including: assessment and ongoing assessment findings; updated clinical priorities for documentation; and therapeutic nursing interventions with specific attention to patient teaching and patient’s response to interventions and progress towards outcomes noted. 9. *Initiates communication with peers and other members of the health care team about clinical priorities for care. 10. *Initiates problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective work relationships with peers. 11.
