As a Part-Time (24 hours per week) Health Center Manager Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Austin, TX. This part-time schedule will be for 24 set hours per week. Optimally, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, however, can be flexible based on availability, but must be the same set schedule every week. *This position is expected to start in March 2027 What You'll Do Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance. Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff). Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed. Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration. Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis. Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations. Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives. Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions. Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Current license as an NP in practicing state. Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites. Current hands on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required. 103 NP may be required (California Only) Experience: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field. 2 – 3 years’ management experience. Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing etc.). Demonstrated problem-solving and work flow management skills. Excellent Communication skills. What does the Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) do? Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Administers all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique. Assures pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies where applicable. Facilitates dose modification by assessing patient, assessing labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications, problems and symptom management Performs venipuncture, accesses implanted ports and maintains central lines catheter devices. Maintains accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided. Applies knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will have the following background and experience: Level 1: Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably at least one year in oncology. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements): 3-5 years nursing experience. Oncology certification preferred. Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements): Five years nursing experience.
