Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Current New York State licensure as a PA or NP. PA-C certification through NCCPA or appropriate NP certification. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification preferred for NP candidates. Previous experience in vascular surgery, surgery, critical care, or inpatient medicine is highly desirable. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
