What You Bring to the Team Education & Experience Degree: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility or agency remains compliant with Maryland regulations for nursing delegation and assisted living services. Maintain documentation in accordance with state and agency policies. Participate in audits, inspections, and licensing reviews as needed. 5. Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, family members, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Serve as a liaison between medical professionals and facility staff. Provide timely reports and updates on clients’ health status to appropriate stakeholders. Qualifications: Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Maryland. Completion of the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Delegating Nurse Training Program. Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with preference in geriatrics, assisted living, or developmental disabilities. Preferred: Prior experience as a Delegating Nurse in Maryland. Knowledge of COMAR regulations (Code of Maryland Regulations), especially Title 10 (Health) and Title 15 (Assisted Living). Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems. Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
