Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Medical Assistant will perform delegated clinical and administrative duties consistent with Medical Assistant program education, training, and experience. May work in both the clinical and front office functions of the practice providing clerical support, assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care support activities at the direction of the physician/provider. Performs the duties in accordance with the specific needs of the practice. The school is hiring one of the first instructors for the new campus. You will help start the program, teach and mentor the first group of LPN students, and set the tone for every class that follows. Motility is the synchronized, wave-like movement of the muscles pushing food through your digestive system. Motility disorders, or dysmotility, is when the muscles do not function as they should, causing a range of health problems. Motility disorders can affect any part of the GI tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, large bowel and sphincter. Motility disorders are commonly associated with a change in the balance of the gut Microbiome such as small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Our team works with patients to develop a personalized treatment plan that targets the source of the problem.
