Position Summary To maintain and develop Hospice education and working relationships of the Hospice Program with professional/community contacts, the Hospice interdisciplinary team, physicians and their staff, and healthcare facilities. Maximizes opportunities for effective communication, problem solving, and utilization of Hospice Program services. Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Experience Minimum of one year of experience in hospice required. Three years of experience in community health preferred. Prior in-service education experience preferred. Overview Provides mental health assessment of and treatment to patients with psychiatric symptoms, cognitive deficits, and/or behavioral problems.
