Qualifications Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Licensure & Certifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Specialty certification related to leadership, cardiovascular nursing, endoscopy, interventional radiology, or procedural services preferred. Overview The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for Perioperative Services provides clinical, operational, and leadership support for a diverse procedural services department, including the Operating Room (OR), Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab), Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology (IR), Ambulatory Surgical Unit (ASU), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or Director of Perioperative Services, the ANM assists in the coordination of patient care delivery, staff supervision, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and daily departmental operations. The Assistant Nurse Manager serves as a clinical resource and leader, promoting excellence in patient-centered care, staff engagement, operational efficiency, and interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the perioperative continuum.
