Must complete Baby Friendly coursework (Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding) within 6 months of hire. Must complete Relias Fetal monitoring within 3 months of hire. Additional Coursework: GE Health Systems, AWHONN Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring. If hired without L&D experience, must complete and pass a L&D class approved by the Association of American Women’s Health, Obstetric & Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) within 3 months of hire date. Temporary or seasonal staff may be hired with only postpartum experience per management discretion.
